Which are the conditions for equilibrium?
The sum of the forces in one direction must equal the sum of the forces in the opposite direction.
The sum of the moments in the clockwise direction must equal the sum of the moments in the anticlockwise direction.
The turning effects must be equal and opposite
The sum of forces must be greater than the moments.
Erläuterung
For equilibrium, both the forces and the moments must be balanced.
